Great show as always! You have a great show and a great bunch of listeners too! Enjoyed Packershow all season and now for a very long post season culminating in a “lucky thirteen” Super Bowl win! I think your question of the week was what improvements have the Packers made that will serve them in the playoffs? I will name a few (some of which are just what you guys said) starting with:
1. Red zone offense – YES!
2. I think the spec teams are improving – they improve, we go all the way because we will beat the Vikings.
3. Mason Crosby (special teams special mention) I still have this dream that he kicks a 54 yarder to send the Vikes home…just like the one he missed last year. Would that not make up for every miss this whole season!
4. 24 sacks in the last eight games (I think that number is right) Our pressure is getting home!
5. OK, I may be wrong about this one but I think Jarrett Bush is improving. Had an INT last week and he literally took the ball away from the receiver. It could be that the Dom is minimizing him as a liability but if that guy shapes up, we could be in business!
Yes indeed! Great show this week. I thought the analysis of the improvement in the offense was brilliant – very informative. Amazing how the OL and Aaron have cut down the sacks in the last 8 games. Gotta love Mark Tauscher, who you rightly give a lot of the credit.
Ross making Ryan Grant a hero was a real shock But seriously, he really deserves it. Astounded that he’s not in the Pro-bowl – but then, AP has had such a lights-out year …
