Good show guys. Way to stay on topic. I’m waiting for the zone-blocking analysis.

Can’t wait for the MNF game. Should be fun to see our offense move the ball on them, but I am really looking forward to some defensive match-ups:

Harris will cover Colston. They both play very physcial.
Lance Moore has done very well this year in the slot. Woodson’s specialty.
Devery Henderson is mostly a deep threat, and Williams has the speed to keep up.
Chillar has done well on TEs and a healthy Shockey should be a good test.
Then if Bush plays we’ll see how our safeties do keeping up.

Packers 37, Saints 20

Hi Wes and Ross,

I am pumped up about the MNF game. I’m have a few freinds that are comeing over to watch it. Sorry i couldn’t get my e-mail to you guys. I was really busy. I think if Reggie Bush plays we will have a hard time stoping him and if he doesn’t it will be a packer blow out. Either way I think it is a win for the Green and Gold.

2 1/2 hours till kick-off. Can’t wait.

I hope MM sticks to the running game, even if we fall into a quick 10-0 deficit. Their secondary is depleted and I’m sure Rodgers could have a field day. but lets give Grant the ball until they show they can stop him. Nothing will take the air out of that dome better than a couple of long drives where we run 2/3 of the plays.

Well, it must be a good feeling to be a New Orleans, Minnesota, and Chicago fan tonight. The Saints just scored their 2nd 70 yard touchdown to make the score 45-21 and it isn’t even the 4th quarter. This game can be summed up in one word: “chunks” chunks, chunks, chunks and in some cases huge chunks of yardage gained with ease. Was Mike Taricho correct on the 3rd and 15 when the game could have still been considered in doubt, that they rushed only 3 lineman? It was very apparent that the difference in this game was a red-hot Brees and the coaching of Sean Payton. What a disaster, but I suppose there should not be any getting bent out of shape and getting huffy about it. The truth must be evident that the Packers are skyrocketing towards an 8-8 season.

Ouch! One of the few Packer games I get to watch in the UK – and we were torched! Gotta give credit to Drew Brees tho – he is some QB. I watched him abuse the Chargers defense in London, but didn’t think he would be able to do the same to the Packers!

If I remember correctly, Ross and Wes, the Chargers fired their Defensive Coordinator after the Saints game. [Just a discussion starter ;-) ]

Where do we go from here? Still no consistency. Is coach MM complacent or calm?

Chris

I definitely feel it was the coaching that was deficient on Monday night. The Saints were three steps ahead of the Packers while running their offense, and were able to pick up their defense in the third quarter when McCarthy switched to panic mode on offense.
